Spiral Vibration Damper
The Spiral Vibration Damper is a preformed helical device designed to reduce aeolian vibration of overhead transmission lines and optical cables. It is mainly used for ADSS and OPGW cables, effectively protecting conductors from long-term fatigue damage caused by wind-induced vibrations.
The damper works by transferring and dissipating the vibration energy through friction between the helical rods and the cable surface. Its lightweight structure provides stable performance without adding excessive mechanical load to the line.
